                                                           TESTIMONIALS

"She has a strong passion and talent for art. Her pieces have always blown me away. The depth and emotion of her work is remarkable.

Laurie is a beautiful woman, inside and out, and I only hope that everyone can find their “Laurie” in life who loves, cares, and cherishes her friends and her work."
                                                                                                                              Sharon Johnson

”Her abilities reach far beyond what can be taught. Her God-given talents are so evident in her works, not only on canvas, but in the souls of so many out there, blessed with her instruction.
The picture she gave me at our retirement party has a prominent spot near my home office desk.
Acquiring one of her works, a great find, having the privilege to be her friend ~ priceless!”

"Laurie's paintings are as beautiful as she is. They capture the spirit of whatever she is painting. Her eye is spot on when she paints"

                                                                                                                                Eileen Wilhem

I went through a series of painful events that sent me spinning off into a very bleak melancholy. As I do occasionally, I saw a painting that absolutely took my breath away. I was nearly speechless when it arrived -- it was even more beautiful than I had remembered. When I took it to my wonderful frame shop, the framer called everybody else out to admire it.  It hangs in my living room now, in a place of honor at the top of the staircase. Visiting the painting is now part of my morning routine -- I stand in front of it until I am pulled into its depths and it centers me. Then I can face anything the day throws at me. And discovering that Laurie had painted it during a dark time in her own life has made it even more special to me. It was the best impulsive decision I've ever made. Photographs can never quite show all of its magic, but maybe you can catch a glimpse of its wonders.
